JLLVPA to Receive 2026 ATHENA Award for Organizational Leadership
The Junior League of the Lehigh Valley is honored to be receiving the 2026 ATHENA Award for Organizational Leadership from the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce! This announcement was made today at the Lehigh Valley Women’s Summit.
The prestigious ATHENA Organizational Award recognizes businesses and organizations that support, develop, and honor women leaders, meeting the following criteria:
- Creates an organizational culture that encourages women employees to achieve their full leadership potential
- Gives back to the larger community of women and girls by providing and/ or supporting leadership development opportunities and initiatives
This award celebrates our members! It is a reflection of the dedication, talent, and passion our members bring to the League every day. Through their service and leadership, we realize our mission, strengthen opportunities for women leaders in the Lehigh Valley, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of women, children, and families throughout our community.
We look forward to joining our fellow award recipients at the Awards Ceremony on October 28. Advancing women’s leadership is at the heart of everything we do, and we are grateful for the opportunity to be recognized alongside Cameilia Baker, MBA, Lehigh Valley Health Network, part of Jefferson Health; and Marci Lesko, United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley.
