In 2013, the Junior League of the Lehigh Valley adopted a new impact strategy focusing on reducing educational disparity among children in the Lehigh Valley. The League identified an opportunity to make a sustainable difference in this area through member surveys, community needs assessments, and interviews with community leaders.

Through various volunteer, funding, and advocacy actions, the Junior League of the Lehigh Valley’s initiatives primarily focus on improving life skills and decreasing the education gap, addressing summer slide, literacy, and food access.
