Description
Join us for a special Mental Health-Themed General Membership Meeting in celebration of
Find the Good Day — a day dedicated to embracing positivity, resilience, and the transformative impact of kindness. Rooted in the Junior League’s legacy of empowerment and community service, this gathering will focus on mental wellness, self-care, and the power of collective support. Through thoughtful conversation, shared resources, and meaningful connection, we’ll explore ways to “find the good” in our everyday lives and uplift those around us. Let’s come together to inspire change, foster hope, and celebrate the strength found in unity and compassion.
As part of the September GMM, we are excited to kick-off our first initiative with our new partner, Community Services for Children (CSC) – a sensory closet designed to support teachers and students with their sensory needs.
To get started, we are collecting donations at the September GMM. There are a few ways you can contribute:
- Shop the Wish List here and ship directly to the designated address.
- Bring purchased items from the Wish List to any of our Find the Good Day events this September.
This sensory closet will provide CSC educators with a valuable resource to support children who may need a calm, controlled space to manage sensory input. These tools will help promote emotional regulation, focus, and well-being – whether a child needs to calm down, re-energize, or simply feel safe.
If you prefer to donate monetarily, please donate
here to Find the Good Day to support this project and the Find the Good Day project!
For provisional members, this will be worth 1 community impact credit and 1 volunteer development credit.
