Join us for Week of the Young Child as we partner with CSC classrooms across the valley to celebrate early learning, young children, their families, and the educators who support them. Visitors are invited to engage in fun, age-appropriate activities and connect with their classroom.  These visits celebrate the joy of learning while helping spark imagination and curiosity. Each classroom visit creates a memorable moment for young learners—and a powerful reminder of how small acts of service can make a lasting impact. 

Classroom visits take place on weekday mornings between 9:30 and 11:30 a.m. across CSC’s 62 classrooms throughout the valley. Upon registration, we will reach out to you for your availability by day of the week, along with where you live or work, so CSC can match each volunteer with a classroom that is convenient for them.

Early literacy builds the foundation for lifelong learning, confidence, and curiosity. By showing up to read with CSC students, Junior League members help create positive, joyful experiences with books at a formative age. These simple moments of connection can inspire a love of reading, strengthen language skills, and show children that their community believes in them. Your presence turns storytime into something powerful—an experience that nurtures imagination and opens doors to future success.
